Providing full day care, occasional care and after school care, the Kulin Child Care Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Bookings are required and can be made through the coordinator, Sue Knapp, phone 9880 1636. All queries are to be directed to the coordinator either via phone or email kccc@westnet.com.au

The Kulin Child Care Centre opened on 2 February 2005 and runs as a Long Day Care service, now operating 5 full days per week. The Kulin Child Care Centre employs a Coordinator, 1 full time caregiver, 1 part time caregiver, as well as having 3 available relief caregivers when required. The Kulin Child Care Centre is a 19 place, multi-ageing service that offers after school care, full day, half day and short notice care to the community.
Fees and Charges (current as at 7 July 2008) are as follows:
Full Day $50.00
Half Day $29.00
Short Notice Hourly Rate $9.00
After School $13.00
After School Monday’s $15.00
Fee reductions through Child Care Benefit are available to eligible families.
The staff are committed and enthusiastic and have a great relationship with the children and parents alike. Since opening numbers and opening days have increased with the centre now operating 5 days per week with an average daily utilisation of around 12 children.
The Kulin Child Care Centre is a community run, not for profit centre, managed by the Kulin Child Care Management Committee.
Centre operations are guided by policies which are continually reviewed and updated by the Management Committee. These policies are available to all parents using the centre.
