Council has a number of suitable venues for hire, which can cater for a variety of meetings, functions, and sporting activities. Council also has tables and chairs available for hire to the public.

Kulin Resource Centre - Lesser Hall

Located on Johnston Street, the Lesser Hall is a perfect venue for meetings of up to 50 people. A fully functional kitchen is suitable for light catering requirements. Also suitable for small functions. Includes fold away tables and plastic chairs. The facility also has direct access to the Telecentre and secretarial services if required. Whiteboard, overhead projector and video conferencing facilities are available. Set up of the venue can be organised.

Freebairn Recreation Centre

This centre will provide first class facilities for larger functions and meetings. The function area can seat up to 120 people. Up to 800 people can be seated in the sporting complex. A fully licensed bar, kitchen, servery, toilets and entry area make this facility suitable for functions, performances, large dinner etc.

Kulin Memorial Hall

Located on Johnston Street, this building has historical significance and is grand in its appearance. The venue will hold up to 150 people and has a fully functional stage area and provision for lighting. The kitchen is not functional presently however this venue is still functional with the use of adjacent kitchen facilities.
